John says with a smile: "Don't worry — my mom can speak Chinese now!"

Xiaoting asks: "And your dad?"

▸ 约翰yuē hàn想xiǎng了le想xiǎng，说shuō：“我wǒ爸爸bà ba会huì说shuō‘太tài好吃hǎo chī了le’！”

John thinks for a moment and says: "My dad can say 'tai hao chi le'!"

▸ 小婷xiǎo tíng笑了xiào le很久hěn jiǔ。

Xiaoting laughs for a long time.

Just then, Mifan walks over and sits down beside them.

Xiaoting looks at Mifan and asks: "If we go to America, what about Mifan?"

▸ 约翰yuē hàn看着kàn zhe米饭mǐ fàn，米饭mǐ fàn也yě看着kàn zhe约翰yuē hàn。

John looks at Mifan, and Mifan looks right back at John.

▸ 没有méi yǒu人rén说话shuō huà。
